Q:Do you know any tips to prevent eyeliner from smudging?

Make sure it’s a smudgeproof/waterproof eyeliner.. LOL. People tend to forget that investing in a good eyeliner will help make things a lot easier and you won’t have to worry about smudging! That’s why I prefer gel liners over pencil because they are more smudgeproof.


If smudging still occurs: When applying to waterlines, make sure you apply the liner when they’re clean and dry. Wipe your waterlines with a tissue. This way, they’re stick on longer. 


When applying to lower lash line, be sure to prime the area with an eye primer first.
Set your liner with eyeshadow. Just like foundation, it will smear off if it’s not already smudgeproof/waterproof.


For pencil liners that are great for the waterline I recommend trying MUFE’s aqua eyes eyeliner, Rimmel’s exaggerate eye definer, and Prestige’s waterproof eyeliner.
