Hello! I would suggest first and foremost that you take proper care of your skin before worrying about wearing any makeup. You’re only making your skin worse by clogging your pores with so much products. Makeup contains chemicals that, depending on your skin, can cause you to break out and react differently to.
From what you told me it seems like you have sensitive, acne prone skin if I’m not mistaken. I would suggest that you cleanse and tone your face daily with a gentle alcohol-free facial cleanser and toner. This will help prevent oil build-up and help restore your skin to a better pH level and gets rid of any leftover residue. Also be sure to moisturize. It’ll help with calming your skin down from irritation that the cleanser may have left. And with SPF in it it will help from sunburn/damage which can also cause more redness. You should also invest in a great facial mask that is designed to help cleanse and shrink your pores. Those you can find at the drugstore.
I suggest that if you prefer wearing medium-full coverage foundation that you don’t wear it on a daily basis just because it’s best to let your skin rest from all that chemicals put on it. And I know that Revlon ColorStay especially has a load of chemicals put in it. I would try Neutrogena’s Healthy Skin foundation instead, being that that foundation is more water-based and healthier for your skin. I understand that you suffer from redness, but unfortunately I don’t really have any tips to get rid of it with just makeup :/ hope things work out!! <3
