Q:so would you suggest saving money and just get photoready instead makup forever? Is photo ready good for dry skin?

Anonymous

In my defense, I would. The only thing stopping me from buying MUFE is the ridiculous price, but I can’t say that it isn’t a good investment. I’ve heard mixed reviews about the both of them. Some people like Revlon better, some like MUFE better. I think it’s about preference.

I don’t have MUFE but from research, the differences between the two are that MUFE doesn’t have shimmer or SPF, MUFE has a wider range of colors (Revlon has like 8), MUFE is a bit heavier, and of course the price.

They both have the same finish (semi-matte), excellent packaging, wear very long, and have great coverage.

I personally do not have any problem with the shimmer in PR (PhotoReady) because you can really only see it if you look up close. The SPF in it kind of makes you look a little whiter in flash photography, so I would say that MUFE is better for special occasions, as PR is better for everyday wear.

I’ve heard that people with dry skin had a problem with PR because it accentuated areas where they were already flaky. If you don’t have flaky skin, it would work just fine.
