10 Spring Lip Picks - Rediscovered Faves from the Stash!
It’s not often that I wear really bright colored lipstick - I’m naturally more attracted to bold, dark colors. But seeing as it’s the perfect time to bring out the pinks, oranges, and fuchsias, I thought I’d dig through my stash and share past favorites I’ve found! Here’s what I chose..

Peach Eyeliner 101

beautywithshannon:

Where to apply: On the bottom waterline, preferably on the outer 2/3 not going all the way to the tearduct.

What it does and why you’d love it: Gives an illusion of larger eyes, reduces the appearance of redness around/in your eye area, makes you look more awake!

When to use it: When your eyes look a bit tired or red, when using dark or light eyeshadow (doesn’t matter!), or whenever you’d like!

Why not white eyeliner?: White looks unnatural compared to peach. Your natural waterline is already a peachy pink color, so you’d want to use peach to give a more brightened effect.

My favorite: Stila Kajal Eyeliner in Topaz ($18)

From the drugstore: Maybelline Cooling Effects Shadow/Liner in Peach Daiquiri (discontinued, found on eBay or Amazon)

Q:Is the Stila Kajal Eyeliner in Topaz a product worth buying? Is it worth the money and do you get what you pay for? I'm worried that if i apply this to my waterline, it will easily fade off in a few hours and won't last as long.. which will cause me to keep reapplying -.-

Anonymous

It actually does stay on the waterline for a couple hours. It won’t stay perfect (the color may smear with the top waterline if you tightline) all day but for the most part the color is still there. It doesn’t hurt to reapply because the color is sooo opaque that you really only need one swipe of it to get good pigmentation. I would only touch up about once throughout the day! =) NARS also has one in Rue Bonaparte and MAC has one in NW25/NW30 but I’m not sure how much they retail for or how they perform in comparison.
