Here’s a better view of the makeup I did on a client for her bridal shower :)
I used my BH Cosmetics Party Girl palette for this eye look. On her lips are NYX lip liner pencil in Rose, L’Oreal Infallible lipstick in Forever Frappe and Buxom Lip gloss in White Russian. Blush is NARS Orgasm.
ugh those meteorites :3 i want to tryyyyyyyy
L’Oreal Color Riche Balms - $7.99
I’m actually impressed with these! If you’re thinking about comparing these to the Revlon Lip Butters, don’t. The lip butters are moisturizing lipsticks, while these balms are exactly what the name implies - balms with a tint of color.
These are very hydrating! Although I only own Caramel Comfort I can’t speak for all colors, but I do know from swatching some in-store that these give off a quite nice sheer pigmentation. They’re very glossy and I think that’s something that comes with the amount of moisture that these give off. I’d imagine that these would do great as a balm/gloss over a similar colored lipstick!
Don’t forget about the SPF 15! These are great if you’re on the go and need an easy application of sheer color to the lips while still getting the moisture of a balm and protection from UV rays :D
I don’t think they’re worth $8 considering they don’t have much staying power, but I think they’re worth giving a try!

Just saw these today at Fred Meyer - New L’Oreal Color Riche Balms
I was curious so I swatched them in the store and eh.. they’re not pigmented at all. Not as much as the lip butters. The packaging is really cute but that’s about it! Just looks like they’re trying to bite off of Revlon mostly haha.

Review: L’Oreal Voluminous False Fiber Lashes Mascara
Price: $8.95 MSRP (prices vary)
Claims (from L’Oreal website): “…Fuller, longer, curled, and sculpted lashes. No clumps or messy results. Just outrageous volume from every angle.”
My rating: 7/10
I was somewhat disappointed in this product. Probably because I had high hopes for it and it IS a drugstore mascara. But then again, drugstore mascaras sometimes compare to highend products, anyway, and I would’ve thought that L’Oreal had more to offer for this one. But anyway, the main reason why I like (not love) this product, and the reason why I gave it a somewhat high rating, is because of MY personal preference for mascaras suited for MY lashes. The fibers in this mascara were designed so that my lashes appear longer and I definitely agree with that. There aren’t a lot of fiber (which I had hoped for), but other than that, it does keep my curl in place ALL day and it washes off easily. The cons are that it dries fast so you have to be quick with application, the wand/brush isn’t as sharp or defined as I’d like it to be (I prefer the newer plastic brushes), and it clumps when added more than one if not two coats. Overall, I like the affect that it gives to my short lashes. The formula could be a little less drying but that’s what keeps my curl in place so I guess I can’t complain too much. I would only recommend this to people with lashes like mine.

Milani’s Face Powder, L’Oreal’s True Match, Maybelline’s Dream Matte, and Estee Lauder’s Double Wear!!! <3

I’ve heard a lot of great reviews about the L’Oreal Extra Intense Liquid Pencil Eyeliner being the best drugstore pencil liner. I personally haven’t tried it yet because I still love using my Rimmel Exaggerate Eyeliner in Noir. It stays on all day and for me, it doesn’t smudge because I take the extra steps to make sure it doesn’t smudge by applying it on a dry waterline then setting the edge of the waterline with some eyeshadow.
