NYX Black Label Lipstick in Nude ($7.50 at Nordstrom Rack)

Bottom picture is what it looks like with a darker nude lipgloss over. By itself it’s not a color that flatters my skin tone as it’s way too light for me (didn’t wanna scare you guys with a picture so I didn’t take one hahaha). But mixed with a darker nude the color it turns into a beautiful light pinky nude perfect for everyday. 

The formulation of this lipstick is not my favorite. It’s very opaque and you definitely get the color you see, but it does not settle evenly, at least when I purse my lips together it doesn’t. It feels very thin on the lips, nothing heavy or moisturizing about this lipstick at all. It’s not the driest lipstick, but it’s certainly not one you’d go to for moisture. You do have to make sure you moisturize your lips well before application or it will accentuate dryness and flakes.

I recommend this color for fair to light medium skin tones, any undertone. Not impressed with this certain color for myself, but I do plan on returning it for another color and see how that goes.
